Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa has reportedly terminated his contract with Turkish Club, Sivasspor.

The contract was terminated based on mutual agreement after the club failed to pay his salaries for the past six months. The Former Kano Pillars is already working on a move to join another club. Ahmed Musa joined Sivasspor from another Turkish Club, Fatih Karagumruk in 2022. He made nine appearances for Sivasspor with no goals.

It was also reported that five first-team players ended their contracts in January while Musa was participating in the AFCON because they were not paid. The Super Eagles Captain did not play in any of the Nations Cup matches as Nigeria finished second losing to Host Nation, Ivory coast in the final.
