The Super Falcons of Nigeria have released a 21-woman squad for the 2024 Olympics Qualifier against Cameroon.

The list includes the likes of Asisat Oshoala, Atletico Madrid forward, Rasheedat Ajibade and UD Tenerife striker, Esther Okonkwo. The Cameroon fixture is the third round of the African Qualifying series and the penultimate round of the series before the continent’s representatives to the 2024 Paris Olympics in July.

Some of the other players invited for the qualifier are Goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Osinachi Ohale, Oluwatosin Demehin, Christy Ucheibe as well as forwards, Toni Payne, Uchenna Kalu and Omorinsola Babajide. Al-Nassr defender, Ashleigh Plumptre makes a return to the squad since the 2023 World Cup in Australia.

The first leg of the encounter will be played at the Stade de la Reunification in Douala on the 23rd of February 2024 while the return leg will be played at the Moshood Abiola stadium in Abuja on the 26th of February 2024.
