The arrest, based on a petition from a new generation bank, relates to their suspected involvement in a conspiracy and fraud amounting to N3.6bn.
The alleged fraudulent activities were connected to Ebony Agro Industries Ltd., a company linked to the ex-Minister, where investigations revealed they obtained a loan for the purchase and production of polished rice.
