Mrs. Adenike Oyetunde-Lawal has been appointed as the new General Manager of the Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs, LASODA, effective December 19, 2023, by Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The selection is a result of Mrs. Oyetunde-Lawal’s outstanding record as a trustworthy attorney, highly skilled alternative dispute resolution specialist, human resource employee, and emotional intelligence coach, according to a statement issued by Mr. Bode Agoro, Head of Service in Lagos.

He noted: “The State Government expects the new General Manager to demonstrate a high level of dedication, diligence, and selflessness in the discharge of her duties to justify the confidence and trust reposed in her by Mr. Governor”.
Adenike Oyetunde-Lawal served as the Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Persons with Disabilities (Disability and Inclusion) prior to her appointment.
Her passionate discussions about the state of disability in Nigeria inspired her to start the Amputees United Initiative, a support network dedicated to amputees. Additionally, she advocates for and supports the inclusion of people with disabilities in Nigeria.
