After enduring a harrowing ordeal that lasted nearly three weeks, the abducted pupils from Kuriga have finally returned home to the warm embrace of their families and loved ones.
The pupils, who were kidnapped on March 8th, were rescued from captivity, bringing an end to their traumatic experience.
The over 250 pupils were abducted by unknown assailants from their school premises, sending shockwaves throughout the community and sparking widespread concern for their safety.
However, after concerted efforts by security forces, including intense negotiations and strategic operations, the hostages were liberated from captivity.
Meanwhile, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has offered free education to the rescued pupils under his foundation.
The governor also promised to rebuild the primary and government secondary school kuriga, in addition to providing other basic infrastructure in the community.
