In a shocking incident in Lagos, gunmen have abducted four individuals travelling by boat. The victims include the Managing Director of Fouani Company, which represents the LG and Hisense brands, and three Lebanese citizens.
The motive for the kidnapping and the victims’ current whereabouts remain unknown. Authorities have launched a full-scale investigation, and sources indicate that the kidnappers have demanded a ransom of $1.5 million for the safe release of the captives.
The incident occurred on Friday evening near Falomo Bridge as the group travelled from Apapa to Victoria Island. This abduction has reignited concerns about kidnapping for ransom, a persistent issue in parts of Nigeria.
