The 2024 Nigeria National League champions, Beyond Limits, are yet to decide on their participation in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) next season.

The Club Owner, Honourable Kunle Soname disclosed this in an interview with journalists in Lagos. He mentioned that the club’s management is still deliberating on the requirements and challenges of competing in the NPFL.

“Football for us isn’t a social service; it’s a business,” Soname stated. “The management of Beyond Limits is in discussions to assess whether they can handle the challenges of the NPFL, both financially and physically. If they believe they can manage, they will participate. If not, they will need to consider other ways to monetize their success.”

Beyond Limits qualified for Nigeria’s first tier league, the NPFL alongside Nasarawa United, Federation Cup winners, El-Kanemi Warriors and Lagos-based club, Ikorodu City. The four teams were previously playing in the second-tier division, the Nigeria National League.
