Terrorists abducted five of Najeebah Al-Kadriyar’s sisters in the Bwari neighborhood of Abuja, and they were freed on Saturday night.
On January 9, Najeebah’s father was kidnapped along with her sisters.
A video of the sisters and their family members celebrating was posted on Kabiru Aminu’s (the uncle) X handle. It was Aminu who first revealed the girls’ escape.
“Najeebahah’s sisters are home right now; someone please wake me up!” he tweeted.
“These girls are strong,” he added in a follow-up tweet.
Their father and the six sisters were abducted not too long ago.
According to reports, the abductors freed their father after requesting that he go obtain a ransom of 60 million naira before Friday, January 12.
The oldest of the six daughters, Najeebah, was allegedly killed by the thugs, who then disposed of her body for her parents to bury since they were unable to acquire the necessary funds.
It was unknown at the time this story was submitted if the girls were freed after their family paid a ransom or if security personnel saved them.
